The Granary’s website (The “Site”) is owned and operated by The Granary Inc. (Hereinafter, The Granary and will also be referred to as “Us”, “We”, “Our”, “The Company” or “The Granary”). The use of this Site constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions (The “Terms”).
You can review the most current version of the Terms at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting them to our Site. Your continued use of or access to our Site following the posting of any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
The content on The Granary’s Site is for informational purposes only. The content is not intended in any way to be a substitute for informed professional medical advice. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a health matter.
1.1 Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions
Information posted on the Site may contain typographical errors, omissions or inaccuracies concerning pricing, offers, product descriptions, shipping charges, delivery times and product availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, omissions or inaccuracies and to cancel orders and change or update information if any information is inaccurate without prior notice. This includes orders that have already been submitted.
2.0 The Sale
Orders are processed within 12-24 hours of being received. They are shipped once payment has been verified as paid in full. If orders are received before 12:00pm (noon) EST, every effort will be made to have the items shipped the same day. On-line orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays.
If an item is out-of-stock, the order will be held for up to 5 business days if we expect to be able to fill the order within that time. If the out-of-stock item is not expected to arrive, the remainder of your purchase will be shipped.
In an effort to minimize waste and in keeping with our commitment to the environment, items are packed in slightly used, clean shipping materials and boxes. Every effort is made to ensure that the contents are shipped in a safe and environmentally conscious way.
3.0 The Price
All prices are in Canadian dollars and any applicable provincial sales tax will be added to all Canadian orders.
4.0 Shipping and Delivery Charges
All orders are processed and shipped from Carleton Place, Ontario.
Should you refuse the shipment upon its arrival, you will be responsible for the original shipping charges as well as the cost to return the package to us. These costs will be subtracted from the refund issued to the customer.
4.1 Canadian Orders
We offer free shipping on orders over $100, before taxes. Some isolated and rural areas do not qualify for free shipping.
Additional shipping charges may apply for some postal codes. We will contact you with a shipping cost for approval prior to processing if you are subject to additional shipping charges.
For orders up to $49.99, before taxes, we charge a flat rate of $10. For orders between $50 and $99.99, before taxes, we charge a flat rate of $12. You may choose to have your order shipped by Priority Post for next day delivery for an additional cost that will be calculated at the time of purchase.
Orders are sent by Canada Post unless otherwise specified. They generally take one to three business days to process, in addition to delivery times estimated by Canada Post. Isolated and rural areas may take additional time to arrive. You will be notified with a tracking number as soon as the order has been shipped.
4.2 USA Orders
For orders up to $79.99, before taxes, we charge a flat rate of $15. For orders between $75 and $149.99, before taxes, we charge a flat rate of $25.
Canadian taxes are not collected on orders shipped outside of Canada. However, orders shipped outside of Canada are subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees. These fees are the responsibility of the customer.
US orders are shipped by USPS via Canada Post Expedited Parcel airmail or surface. Our goal is to have the parcel arrive within 7-12 days. However, cross-boarder orders can take up to four weeks to arrive and parcel tracking is not offered for US shipments. If you have not received your order after four weeks, please contact us so that we may investigate.
5.0 Exchanges and Refunds
The Granary guarantees your satisfaction with the products you purchase from us. If you are not satisfied with your purchase or the product is found to be defective, please contact us by email or telephone. We reserve the right to refuse any request for a refund or exchange.
Products are eligible for refund within 60 days of the original purchase date. An original receipt must accompany all returns.
Unopened and unwanted items may be returned, however, they are subject to a 10% restocking fee up to 30 days after the purchase date. A receipt must be provided in order to process the refund. Returns after 30 days will receive a store credit, less a 10% restocking fee. No returns or exchanges will be processed on refrigerated or frozen products including probiotics.
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returned products. If the refund or exchange was a result of an error on our part, we will reimburse the customer for the additional shipping charges incurred by them.
The following policy governs the privacy of the users of this Site.
6.1 Collection of Information
When you use The Granary’s Site basic information is collected to improve the efficiency of the Site. The general information along with cookies are used internally for marketing and advertising efforts.

6.2 Use and Sharing of Information
Your Personal Information is collected by The Granary in order to complete orders purchased on the Site. It is also used to provide you with information about the status of your order, promotional offers and in the event that we need to contact you about a transaction. Personal Information is used internally by The Granary and will not be disclosed to any outside organization without prior consent of the customer unless required by law or if the terms and conditions stated on this page are violated.

7.0 Applicable Law
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario without regard to choice of law rules. Each user agrees to submit to personal jurisdiction in Ontario and further agrees that any cause of action arising from or relating to the use of this site or this agreement shall be brought exclusively in a court in Ontario.
If any provision of the Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed to be severed from the rest of the Terms and shall not impact in any way the enforceability of any remaining provisions.
9.0 Limitation of Liability
In no case shall The Granary, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, suppliers, service providers, or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any damages of any kind, arising from the use of any of the products from our Site. This includes but is not limited to, any errors or omissions, or any damage or loss incurred as a result of the use of any product posted on our Site.
